The Overture Map Foundation (OMF) has published a STAC1 for its data releases. The STAC endpoint can be found at https://labs.overturemaps.org/stac/catalog.json. It can be explored using, for example, the Radiant Earth STAC browser.
Some notable features:
The OMF STAC collections encompass the OMF data themes:
addressesbasebuildingsdivisionsplacesandtransportation
At the time of writing, the OMF STAC shows a
2026-01-21release and the option “Latest Oveture Release”. For now, these are the same, but in the future, I imagine we will see full access to historical and current datasets through this STAC as the time series grows. The code to generate the OMF STAC is available on GitHub, under the MIT license.
The OMF STAC offers the OMF data conveniently as Parquet files from AWS through
HTTPSandS3and from Azure throughHTTPS.

- The OMF STAC also includes ready-to-use PMTiles. Those are served at the theme (not collection, item or asset) level under “Additional Resources”. For example, you can find the
base(basemap) PMTile file here under “Additional Resources”. For this theme, the PMTile file is hosted here and you can conveniently preview it in Protomaps, as well.
Very nice!
